The Goodwill movement began in 1902 as a way to “provide employment, training, and rehabilitation for people of limited employability, and a source of temporary assistance for individuals whose resources were depleted.”  Goodwill Industries of Ashtabula Inc. was founded in 1935 and serves Lake and Ashtabula Counties as well as N.W. PA. Our mission today reflects our roots: to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities or special needs through education, job training and the power of work.  We fulfill our mission through vocational rehabilitation programs, and the power of work.
