Goodwill Industries of Ashtabula, Inc.

Announces New Leadership

The Board of Directors for Goodwill Industries of Ashtabula, Inc.

recently named Doreen Costello as the new Executive Director

of the organization. Doreen will replace former

Executive Director Dorothy Altonen, who will retire in February

after her 26 years of service, 7 of which she held the position

of Executive Director.

Doreen’s position as Executive Director of Goodwill Industries

of Ashtabula, Inc., comes after 27 years of experience working

for Goodwill, most recently as the Finance and Contracts Director.  

Doreen received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Business

Administration with a major in accounting at Susquehanna University

in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania.

Hilary Strauss will be assisting as Associate Director of

Goodwill Industries of Ashtabula, Inc.  Hilary began her career

at Goodwill as a vocational evaluator in 2006 and rapidly moved

into the position of Vocational Rehabilitation Director.  Hilary

holds a Masters Degree in Social Work Administration.

Goodwill Industries of Ashtabula, Inc. is pleased to have a new

Executive Director and Associate Director who will be focusing

on strategic planning and improving the quality of life for people

with disabilities and other special need by providing opportunities

in Vocational Rehabilitation and job training.
